Short version: This site does not collect, store, or share your personal data. The tools here run entirely in your browser. I'm one person writing from personal experience — not a doctor, nutritionist, or data broker.
Who I am
My Body My Diet is a personal wellness publication run by one person. It's a journal in my own voice covering diet, body, mind, and health — based on my own experience, not professional medical advice.

What data I collect
None. This site does not use cookies, analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any form of user tracking. I do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other personal information.
There is no account system, no sign-up form, and no newsletter (unless that changes — if it does, this policy will be updated).
The Tools (My Kitchen and other interactive tools)
The interactive tools on this site — including My Kitchen — store all data locally in your browser only, using a browser feature called localStorage. This means:
- Your pantry, meals, food log, and settings never leave your device
- Nothing is sent to any server — not mine, not anyone else's
- Your data is not visible to me or any third party
- It does not sync across devices or browsers — it lives only where you set it up
- Clearing your browser data removes it permanently
The export feature lets you save a copy of your data as a local file on your own device. That file is yours — I never see it.
Third-party services
A few external services are used on this site, each with their own privacy practices:
- Google Fonts — used for typography. When the page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch font files. Google may log this request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Ko-fi — the "Buy Me a Coffee" button links to Ko-fi, a third-party platform. If you click it and make a donation, Ko-fi's own privacy policy applies. See Ko-fi's Privacy Policy.
- Pinterest — links to the My Body My Diet Pinterest account. If you follow the link, Pinterest's own privacy policy applies. See Pinterest's Privacy Policy.
- GitHub Pages — this site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type) as part of hosting. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.
I don't control what these services do with data they collect through their own systems. I chose them because they're minimal and reputable, but if any of this concerns you, you can use a content blocker to limit third-party requests.

Everything here — articles, tools, opinions — is based on my own personal experience and research. Always consult a qualified professional before making changes to your diet, health routine, or treatment plan.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If anything about this site changes in a way that affects privacy — like adding a newsletter, analytics, or new third-party services — this policy will be updated. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised.
